Lion of the East – China

China is ahead, inclusive and different from the rest.

I recently visited China – Shanghai after 5 years and WOW – what a developed country, by far shows Europe, US like a 3rd world country.

A good blend of Technology, Growth while ensuring their history and culture is not lost – you just feel the integration of modern world while experiencing the history/culture. People are so disciplined, organized and adapted newer ways of civilization.

Irrespective of what the western world thinks – China truly has made some right moves and the advantages are felt.

Any service that is for the public/citizens – it is fully funded and governed by the government while ensuring there is democracy and openness.

and more than the price – what China truly governs is the Quality of service and its unmatched. When you travel or walk around the city – the traffic, electric cars, electric bikes, the shopping experience, the industries and modernization is so well orchestrate.

Every 500 meters you will see parks and walking tracks across the state and something the government has designed. Its not one of those countries that is concrete view, but really a good mix of nature and growth

Not taking away the on-going issues of privacy issues coming out from China – the country is truly developed and continues to grow.

Every restaurant that looks fancy from outside and inside (infrastructure), the food and the way of serving is authentic and takes you back 1000s of years. They did not loose their identity on culinary and kept the ways of cooking intact. Feels 100% china where its one of the most modernized countries while getting a taste of their old history.

Truly amazing and I encourage when there is an opportunity – do visit China. It enlightens us and I am looking forward to visit more of china, especially the provinces that has so much nature intact – one of the best landscapes.
